An unidentified injured body was recovered from the roadside near Sajur crossing in Suti, Murshidabad, on Thursday morning. According to local sources, residents noticed the body lying unattended and immediately alerted the police. The incident occurred under the jurisdiction of Suti police station.
Upon receiving the information, officials from Suti police station reached the spot and took charge of the situation. The injured body was recovered and sent to Jangipur Sub-Divisional Hospital for post-mortem. Police have not confirmed the identity of the deceased or the nature of the injuries at this stage.
